Solage

Solage is a refreshing, sophisticated place to relax. I spent an evening at the outdoor restaurant, during one of those perfect warm summer nights. Love the bocce courts and also those bicycles! It was a pleasure coming back recently to photograph a corporate group. You can just see the people visibly relax as they settle into the resort.

WIPA luncheon meeting at the San Franisco St. Regis

Barry Peterson hosted the elegant luncheon at the St. Regis, where Rebecca Grinnals spoke about destination brides. The hotel is fresh and contemporary, with unparalleled service. I love the signature butler service and the modern, sophisticated grace of the architecture. Barry's attention to detail with each event is impressive - the hotel redefines luxury.

Some of my clients who were there as overnight guests, mentioned how fabulous the bedding and linens were in the bedrooms. They figured if they had something just like it at home, they would sleep better. Then one of them said, "Well, it probably had something to do with the service that made them feel so amazing - so unless they had butlers at home, it wouldn't be the same".

Conference at the San Francisco St. Regis

GM meeting - the "un conference" room at the St. Regis. Sumptous, white leather chesterfield sofas - a new luxury experience for a business conference. Exquisite tea display by Tea Leaves.

The Special Event

I was a guest speaker at The Special Event, this year held in New Orleans! I spoke with Joyce Scardina Becker on producing and photographing events that will be published. There was a whole range of speakers and great energy at the event. Darcy Miller from Martha Stewart gave an inspirational keynote address at the luncheon. Her "wedding breakfast at Tiffany's" photo shoot was lovely. I met planners from as far away as the Ivory Coast in Africa.

PR coverage for Schindler

One of the most interesting parts of photographing corporate conferences is the opportunity to learn more about an industry that I'm documenting. This event included a panel of engineers from around the world.
