Wedding at the Golden Gate Club

Sara and Dan married in the Aids Memorial Grove in Golden Gate Park, an oasis of serenity within the city. They deliberately sought out sites that would give a sense of combining an urban feel with nature. Their festive celebration continued at the Golden Gate Club in the Presidio, which was bathed in beautiful patterns of light. (Uplighting makes a big difference in the ambiance of events.) Melons catered the delicious meal and Kathryn Kalabokes of Dream a Little Dream Events coordinated the day.

Sarah and Dan requested backdrops that incorporated both an urban and nature look, similar to what they had in mind for their upcoming wedding. They had flown in a few days earlier from Africa, with the wedding just a week away.
