Kimberly & Paul's wedding at The Carneros Inn

A true romantic, Paul proposed in Paris. (Kimberly incorporated many Parisian details at their wedding.) Their marriage was also a blending of families and it was beautiful to see how inclusive they were. Just before the wedding Paul gave Kimberly a diamond necklace with three diamonds, each representing a child. They're all going on a trip together after the wedding. When I arrived, their immediate family was doing a toast before the ceremony.

Kimberly's brother married them and at the reception, her father made a wonderful toast, saying it's a lifelong endeavor - to train one's parents properly. Kimberly was a radiant bride, dancing most of the night either in her sparkly flats or barefoot. The light at the end of the day was gorgeous and we made the most of it.

The Carneros Inn provided the perfect setting for an elegantly relaxed day.

Sofia and Matt's wedding at the Four Seasons San Francisco

Sofia and Matt had a spectacular wedding celebration at The Four Seasons. Her twin sister gave her a beautiful pair of earings as something "blue". Sofia's parents put together an amazing party, including specially designed light fixtures that combined with draping, transformed the ballroom at the hotel. I loved seeing their reactions to the room. The guests really enjoyed the photo booth and the lounge area set up for cocktails. We managed to get some great shots of the couple outside, despite sudden bursts of showers.

Solage

Solage is a refreshing, sophisticated place to relax. I spent an evening at the outdoor restaurant, during one of those perfect warm summer nights. Love the bocce courts and also those bicycles! It was a pleasure coming back recently to photograph a corporate group. You can just see the people visibly relax as they settle into the resort.
